1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using SI Compra (the "Service"), operated by Omega UI LLC, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SI Compra is an informational and record-keeping platform for the Florida saw palmetto berry industry: live stand pricing, a stand locator, harvest logging, crop intelligence, community field reports, and permit record-keeping. SI Compra is not a buyer or seller of berries and is not a party to any transaction between gatherers and purchasing stands.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering and when logging harvests or transactions.
4. Daily Season Pass & Payments
Premium features are sold as a flat, one-time daily pass ($0.99 per calendar day) during the harvest season. There is no recurring billing. Payments are processed by third-party providers; access is activated after payment confirmation. Because each pass covers a single day, no refunds are issued for unused days, early season closure, or weather conditions. Off-season features (stand directory, guides, community, Hall of Records) remain free.
5. Legal Harvesting & Permits
Florida law (FDACS) requires a Native Plant Harvesting Permit to harvest and sell saw palmetto berries, and harvesting is legal only on private land with written landowner permission. The Permit Assistant is a record-keeping convenience only — it is not legal advice, and SI Compra is not affiliated with FDACS. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws. Fines and criminal penalties for illegal harvesting are your responsibility.
6. Field Safety
Harvesting saw palmetto involves serious hazards including venomous snakes, extreme heat, insects, and rough terrain. Safety information in the app is general guidance only. You assume all risks of field work. SI Compra is not liable for any injury, illness, or death occurring during harvesting activities.
7. Prices & Data Accuracy
Prices, yield forecasts, weather data, and crop intelligence are provided "as is" from stand operators, community reports, and automated sources. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Always confirm the current price at the stand before selling. AI-generated forecasts are estimates, not promises.
8. User Content & Conduct
You retain ownership of content you post but grant Omega UI LLC a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service. You agree not to post false prices or reports, harass other users, post unlawful content, scrape or resell platform data, or use the Service to facilitate illegal harvesting. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
9. Verification & Records
"Verified" badges on harvest logs and Hall of Records entries reflect a stand administrator's confirmation and are provided for community trust only; they are not legal or financial certifications.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omega UI LLC's total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost earnings from harvesting decisions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
